The idea of competition in PE teaching brings out strong feelings both for and against.
The National Curriculum states that children should have the opportunity to compete because this helps them build character and embeds values such as fairness and respect.
In this course, you will discover some practical ideas to plan competitive activities that foster co-operation, teamwork and altruism.
The course has been awarded 3 Developmental CPD points by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).
Valid for 12 months
